Party-licious Lashes

Get dramatic or sexy this festive season with party lashes! There are so many styles to choose from and really, it is not difficult to put them on. The more dramatic the lashes, the simpler your outfit and accessories should be. I bought two different style of lashes from Shu Uemura; one is dramatic and the other creates a sexy effect. For a dramatic look, Iused only highlighter and a light tinge of blueshadow on the eyelids and fixed onlong feathery lashes. I chose a simple black long dress and left the hair looking loose and natural. Throw on a chunky bracelet and heels and you are ready to party! For a sexy party look, use lashes which has longer lashes at the outer corner. You can apply stronger eye makeup with these lashes, hence I chose the trendy smokey eye makeup. A strapless bright blue short dress and long dangly earrings and  a crystal necklace completed the look.

Tis’ the Season to be Sparkly!

IMG_0010Christmas is all about glitter and sparkles. So bring out your best bling and glam it up for the par-tay! Dress up and be MERRY! Most of you will have christmas and new year parties at your work place. Now what is office appropriate even if it is a social gathering? The men will not scratch their heads over what to wear…the women will. It depends on the culture of your company and the nature of the party. If it is just amongst bosses and colleagues, dresses are always the best choice. Just be sure it is not too plunging, too short. It is important to always maintain a standard of protocol when it involves work and colleagues. Or wear a nice pair of dark dressy jeans with a fun top. You will want your boss and peers to see you as not just all work and no fun! Employers will like staff who are well-rounded both academically and socially especially if your work requires you to meet clients and be outgoing. If you are invited to a more formal do involving important /potential clients, you will do well in a formal cocktail dress or an evening pant suit with a hint of lace or satin peeking out from your jacket for a sexy, sophisticated look.
