From image makeovers to wardrobe shopping, styling and etiquette, Melissa is the go-to image consultant for women and men wanting to look well put together and feel confident. She is creative, sincere and personable in her approach in bringing the spark out of every individual. Melissa believes in nurturing her clients to cultivate an image that is in harmony with their personal style and aspirations.

Melissa’s passion in image makeovers began early in her childhood days. She would do makeup and styling for friends and spent much of her time studying fashion styles and icons and browsing shops to keep her pulse on the latest trends. She believes that dressing and looking good do wonders for one’s confidence and self-esteem, having witnessed this effect on many of her clients’ after their makeovers. Always a trendsetter, Melissa’s own signature style is eclectic; selecting the best styles from various sources and combining them to create her own unique image. While she maintains the importance of looking updated, Melissa does not believe in following fashion blindly but rather, she combines the art of fashion and the science of style to bring out the best qualities of her client.  

Melissa left the service industry to pursue her passion and has never looked back since. She managed a beauty salon for a while before setting up her own image consulting business. Aptly named Image Harmony, her mission is to inspire people to look fabulous inside-out and to be consistent with their image and aspirations. With her corporate training, beauty knowledge and image branding experience, Melissa offers simple and practical solutions to clients on how to achieve their desired image through workshops, one-on-one image consultations and her style blog at

To-date, she has groomed individuals from CEOs, entrepreneurs, consultants and executives from the finance, law, investment, shipping and training industries to students, new graduates and home-makers.

Melissa is a certified image consultant having passed a professional exam for the First Level Certification (FLC) recognised by the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), the leading and largest association of image consultants worldwide. Melissa is currently the Vice President, Education and Chair, Philanthropy for the AICI South Asia-Singapore Chapter. She is also a qualified administrator for DISC, a personality profiling tool. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology and sociology.
